Choicemortgages is an independent mortgage broker with an established high street location. Having been in Stamford since 1999, we are at the heart of the community.

Our team of advisers have over 100 years of experience between them, providing you with a dedicated personal service. We take the time to get to know you, to understand your individual needs and what you are looking to achieve, before advising you on the best mortgage for your circumstances.

We offer a free no obligation consultation and have access to the whole mortgage market. We also pride ourselves on looking after your future interests, making you aware of the insurance options available and how you can protect both you and your home.

We work closely with you, submitting applications, liaising with your lender, provider and solicitor to ensure that your home purchase or remortgage goes through as quickly and smoothly as possible.

We service buyers throughout the UK, providing impartial mortgage and insurance advice that is needed when making such vital financial decisions. You are welcome to visit our offices or speak to us over the phone. We are open Monday through to Saturday, from 9am – 5pm.

Meet the team

Nicola Bentman

Director/Mortgage and Protection Adviser

I started working in August 1997 at First Direct as a customer services representative, before making the decision to become a mortgage adviser. After completing the relevant training, I joined Mortgages Direct in June 1999. I was keen to develop my skills in the protection market and liked the culture within Choice Mortgages so I joined the firm – and never looked back!

Out of hours

Playing taxi for my two children! When time allows, I love long walks in the outdoors.

Tony Senior

Director/Mortgage and Protection Adviser

I have been working in the financial services industry since 1989. During this time I have worked for various companies in both advisery and management roles. I was attracted to Choice Mortgages because they offer a friendly, professional and customer-focused environment. Being an independent financial services company ensures I deliver a first class customer outcome.

Out of hours

I enjoy spending time with my wife, children & grandchildren (I know I don’t look old enough). I also enjoy travel and watching football.

Sarah Ives

Administrator

I have worked in the financial service industry for the last 20 years. I started as a customer services adviser for Norwich and Peterborough Building Society. My career progressed with a regional estate agency, where I was involved with administrating mortgage and protection applications. After joining Choice Mortgages I gained my CEMAP qualification, and held the roles of mortgage adviser and, most recently, administrator.

Out of hours

I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two daughters, as well as our dog Phyllis.

Alison Hinsley

Administrator

My career has evolved through various industries, including travel, construction and beauty. Although new to financial services, I have the skills and knowledge required to undertake my new role effectively and I am proud to be a part of the Choicemortgages team.

Out of hours

I love to travel with my husband and daughter, or enjoy weekends away with girlfriends. I also love muddy walks in the countryside, relaxing at home and viewing a box set whilst enjoying a glass of wine.
