Shared Ownership
Shared ownership is an alternative first step into home ownership, if you can't afford to buy outright. We help you with the options available; you can part-buy/part-rent your home, you can buy a 25%, 50% or 75% share and pay rent on the remaining share. We help our customers find the best solution.
Shared Equity
This is where you use an 'equity loan' to form part of a deposit. The person buying the home owns the whole property although the provider of the equity loan usually has an agreement to share in any appreciation. Shared equity is not the same as shared ownership.
